Scientific temper is…
A state of mind which does not accept anything but the truth.
A way of life/living to think logically, rationally, and analytically.

Why we need Scientific Temper?
Scientific Temper.....
Develops the understanding of nature & natural laws.
Develops the consciousness level to differentiate the dualism of nature: right & wrong, good & bad, and helps in decision-making.
Increases the knowledge to find the reason behind everything and not just to accept the social acclaims blindly.
Loosens the bonds of dogmatism, superstition, fatalism that are hindrances of social progress as well as the growth of conscience.
According to Central Government Act, Article 51A (h), the Constitution of India 1949: It shall be the fundamental duty of every citizen of India
To develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform.
So, it is the duty of every responsible citizen of India to develop scientific temper and promote to do so.
Scientific temper doesn’t mean one has to study any science subject or having degree in science stream.
Anyone literate/ illiterate, educated/ uneducated, scientist/ artist/ businessman/ any professional can have the scientific instinct. If not, all of them must develop scientific temper in them.
